Blackbird At Buster's is a romantic black comedy that tells the story of Blackbird, a talented but out-of-luck and end-of-the-road Jersey rock and roll band in the mid 1980s, that robs a bank to finance the hit album it has never made. An hysterically successful, but simultaneously botched, caper leads to a police chase and the band holing up with a colorful handful of hostages in a vintage record store owned by Buster Hayes, an industry-exiled record producer.
